Pigment Red 176 provides a bluish red shade, light fastness is good, and very good migration fastness in plasticized PVC. Mainly use for plastics, spin dyeing, laminated papers and the decorative inks for laminated plastic sheets.
1. For Plastics: PVC, PVC cable insulations and synthetic leather, polyolefins and in polystyrene, polypropylene spin dyeing, especially for coarse textiles, such as carpet fibers, split fibers, filaments, bristles, or tape, but also for finer denier yarns.
2. For Inks:Use for decorative prints for laminated plastic sheets.P.R.176, like P.R.187 and 208, is insoluble in styrene monomer and acetone, exhibits no plate-out onto the plastic sheets, and does not bleed if it is soaked with a melamine resin solution.
