Pigment red 208 affords medium shade of red, exhibits good fastness to chemicals and solvents, excellent fastness to migration and bleeding. Mainly used for packaging gravure printing inks and plastics, also employed for some general industrial finishes.
1. Inks: recommend used for all printing methods and very light fast in printing.
2. Plastics: used mixed with PY83 or Carbon black to achieve brown shade for PVC, PP, PE, spin dyeing that such low temperature process plastics, it may caused a color shift toward yellowish if the temperature is higher.
3. Coatings: used for general industrial finishes.
